DeepF — ingValue has doubled in GameStop Corp.
A legendary trader on Reddit’s WallStreetBets forum for a visionary bet on video game retailers posted a screenshot of his brokerage account on Friday afternoon. As the screenshot shows, Reddit users, whose real name is Keith Gill, currently own 100,000 shares of GameStop worth about $ 4 million.
The post does not indicate when the shares were purchased. In the last update posted on the afternoon of February 3rd, his position was 50,000 shares. Gil declined to comment.
Much of the momentum surrounding GameStop I’ve been confused in the last few weeks.. Stock prices fell 23% this week to $ 40.59, down more than 90% since peaking at $ 483 on a daytime basis on January 28. It closed at $ 92.41 on February 3rd.
Mr. Gil appeared in Congress hearing about GameStop frenzy On Thursday he was asked by lawmakers if he found the stock still attractive. “I think it’s an attractive investment in this price range,” he replied.
