Amazon partners with Ripple partner dLocal to expand its card payment service

Ripple partner dLocal releases partnership with Amazon to expand geographic reach of the e-commerce giant’s card payment service.

DLocal platform, partnered with Ripple, has shared the news of a partnership with e-commerce giant Amazon to accept debit and credit card payments in Paraguay. dLocal is a top-of-the-line multinational electronic payment platform powered by RippleNet.

The firm operates primarily in developing countries – particularly in regions such as Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Last November, it was revealed that the software giant Microsoft also entered into a partnership with dLocal.

Microsoft needed this to expand its operations in Nigeria and allow new customers to pay for their goods and services faster and with lower fees than conventional payment operators.
